"I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry": I thought this film was going to be a loser and that I would hate it. I was prepared for something stupid but I was suprised and pleased. It was funny and did a decent job of showing how the Job builds life long friendships.
On the way home from the movie we ran into Ladder 20 parked at the corner of Bleeker and Lafayette. Sorry to say I didn't recognize any of the faces but I heard barking coming from the Truck. I figured it was a recording of Twenty, the Dalmation puppy that was given to that house after 9/11; kinda like Ladder 11 in the East Village that used to broadcast Wagners "Flight of the Valkeries" as it rode to fires in the in the 1970's--or was it the 60's. But I was wrong. It really was Twenty. He clearly didn't recognize me but it was nice to know he was still there.
I found a picture online that shows Twenty when he was first donated.
